  “Woman,” I cut off Prez.

“This woman has come to us for help.” He explained to the brothers about Jasmine’s situation and I couldn’t help but let my mind wander to her. She was hot as fuck even though she was a complete mess at the moment. I couldn’t hide the fact that I noticed her reaction to me when I touched her. Her skin pebbled with goose bumps, her breathing changed and a slight blush crept up her neck. I have to say, I’m like the cat who got the cream knowing how I affected her, but she’s innocent; a school teacher for fucks sake. I can’t let her get mixed up in me, in my life, she’s too good, pure. I saw the desperation in her eyes when she was begging for my help; that was the look of a mother who loves her son. Something that I wouldn’t know anything about. I’d help her find her son and then cut all ties with her.

“VP, who’s that lowlife that you guys encountered with over Emily?”

“Martin Clarke? You think he has something to do with this?” Holes leant forward, resting his elbows on the table.

  “Maybe,” Prez answered.

“He was involved with child trafficking in London, that’s why he wanted your niece,” Toes added.

“Toes, get on that computer of yours and see if you can find out where his business takes place to in London. It may be worth a trip there. Solar, she trusts you, take Tyler with you and stay with her. For all we know, someone may be after her too.” I nodded my head in understanding. The last thing I wanted to be doing was looking after her so closely but I’d never argue with my orders.

“We will meet back here in the morning, hopefully Toes will have some information for us. I’ll contact the other charters to see if they have heard of anything like this happening. Iron, Tat and Holes, be on guard, we don’t know if she’s being watched, we don’t want any backlash coming to our women from this.”

  “Got it,” Iron answered.

Prez slammed down the gavel and the room emptied pretty fast. I was the last to leave and Jasmine was outside the door waiting for me.

“Do you know where he is? Are you able to help me?” Her tiny hand gripped my tattooed forearm and her soft skin had me picturing what that hand would feel like wrapped around my growing cock. Shit, what the hell was wrong with me? This woman had lost her son and all I’m thinking about is fucking her. That alone just proves I cannot, and will not, touch her.

“Let’s get you home,” I mumbled as I pulled my arm away from her and headed out of the front door. “Tyler!” I shouted as I saw him standing talking to Iron outside. I jerked my head at him and he hurried towards us.

“What do you need Solar?” Her, was the first thought that came to my mind. Shit.

“Grab your car and take Jasmine home. I’ll follow behind.”

“Can’t you take me?” Jasmine asked, stepping closer to me.

“If you want our help, sweetheart, you’ll do as we say.” I turned on my heel and headed over to my bike, leaving her standing there. I hated being a jerk to her but I couldn’t let her get close to me.

  Chapter 2

  Jasmine

“Shit,” I mumbled to myself when we turned the corner onto my road. There was my house, one story with two bedrooms and in the drive way was my mum and dad’s car.

  “You ok?” Tyler asked.

“Um, yeah.” He pulled his car up at the end of my driveway and I turned to him. “Is it ok if I go in by myself?”

“I was told to stay with you.” He looked unsure of what to do. By what Ashlyn was saying, this guy wanted to be a proper member and he earnt that by doing as he was told, whether that was cleaning the toilets or looking after someone.

“Please, just for five minutes. You can stand by the front door. Solar isn’t even here. I won’t tell anyone I went in by myself. If he turns up, just come on in. Please?” I begged.

He sighed. “Yeah, ok, but if I hear anything I don’t like, I’m coming straight in.”

“Deal.” I breathed a sigh of relief as I climbed out of the car and ran up my driveway and into my house. It was dark inside except for the light shining from the kitchen. I headed that way and was thrilled to see my big brother Jake.

“Oh my god, what are you doing here?” I shrieked, running at him. He placed his cup on the kitchen worktop and caught me in his arms.

“I couldn’t not come when I knew what you would be going through.”

“Thank you,” I spoke quietly as the sobs started taking over. “Where is he? Where’s my son?”

“I don’t know, sweet girl. We’ll find him. The police are working on it.”

“They weren’t working quickly enough for my liking,” I told him as I stepped back.

“Please, Jasmine. Tell me you didn’t do it,” mum asked.

“I had to, I didn’t have a choice. He’s missing and the police don’t have a clue where he is,” I explained as my hands gripped onto the back of the chair that was pushed under my kitchen table. Mum and dad were sitting at the table, a mug in their hands and my brother was leaning back against the kitchen worktop, one leg crossed over the other at the ankle.

“But to go to a motorcycle club? They’re dangerous, Jasmine. What do they want for payment? You have no spare money!” she shouted, causing me to flinch away.

  “I… I don’t know, I didn’t ask yet,” I quietly said.

“What?” Dad barked. “How could you have gotten involved with them?” He pushed the chair out and shot to his feet, coming at me with anger in his eyes. He held me by the top of my arms and shook me.

“I’ll do anything that I have to do to get my son back!” I screamed in his face.

We all jumped and mum screamed as the front door slammed open, dad didn’t let go of me until Solar barrelled down the hallway.

“Get your hands off of her!” he roared. Dad stepped back and Solar darted towards him.

“No, Solar, wait!” I cried as I grabbed hold of his bicep to halt his movements. He looked over at me. “That’s my dad. I’m ok.” He relaxed slightly and I looked around to see where Jake was. I gasped when I saw Tyler standing in front of him with a gun pointed at his chest.

  “Who’s that?” Solar asked.

  “Jake, my brother.”

“Step away, Tyler.” Tyler lowered his gun and pushed it back into his jeans waistband.

“You see what you have gotten yourself involved in, Jasmine? That man was going to kill your brother!” Mum shrieked.

  “I wasn’t, I wouldn’t…” Tyler stuttered.

“It’s ok, man. Go outside and take a breath of fresh air,” Solar told him. Tyler looked at me with an apology in his eyes and I nodded my head and forced a tight smile to cover my lips.

“Jasmine, you can’t do this,” mum said. “The police will find him.”

“And what if they don’t? What if they can’t?”

“Then we’ll hire a private investigation team,” dad added.

“Sir, a private investigation team and the police won’t be able to look into the things we can,” Solar said as he sidled up and stood by my side.

“And how is it you know these things? Because you’re all criminals?” Mum accused.

  “Mum,” I scolded.

“No, ma’am, we’re not all criminals but we do have a lot of connections and one of those happens to be a man involved in child trafficking.”

“What?” I gasped. “You think someone has stolen him to sell?”

“It’s a possibility.” Solar turned to me. His eyes were gentler now and I found myself wanting him to hold me. “I was going to talk to you about this when we got here.” His large hand came up to cup the side of my face and I wanted him to hold me while I cried into his broad chest.

“And what payment will you be asking for? Money or sex?” My mum spat out. Solar’s hand dropped from my face as he turned towards my parents.

“That hasn’t been discussed yet. I don’t know what you think you know about the Cornish Crusaders but we don’t demand sex for helping people that need our help.”
/>   “We’ve heard the rumours, we know you keep girls there to have sex with,” Mum accused.

“Mum,” I scolded her again. “It’s none of our business what they do there. All I want is help finding my son and I’ll do anything to get that help. Think of Nate, how scared he must be feeling right now, how alone. I can’t bear the thought of them hurting him.” I spun around to look at Solar. “If he’s there for trafficking will they hurt him? Abuse him?”

“No, no one wants to buy a beat up child. They will be taking good care of him, to get the price they want.”

“So, how does this work? If you find him, we buy him back?” Jake asked.

“No, if we find him, we bring him home to you. That’s all you need to know,” he told me. I nodded in understanding. For some reason I really trusted this guy; he was genuine.

“That’s all we need to know? That’s not good enough!” Mum screeched.

“Mum, Dad, Jake? I think you should all go.”

“We’re not leaving you here with him.” Mum pointed her finger at Solar and turned her nose up at him. “He could attack you as soon as we leave the house.”

“According to you he has a whole place full of women to fuck, why would he be interested in me?” I sneered at them. I needed to get them out of here, they were throwing insults at Solar left, right and centre. They were disrespecting him and his club, if they ended up being the reason I don’t get help finding my son I would never forgive them.

  “But, Jasmine…” Mum started.

“No, I’ve waited a week for the police to help and they can’t. So now I’m choosing this path, I need them, Mum, please understand,” I pleaded.

“Come on, Joyce, she won’t listen. She’s made her own bed, now let her lie in it,” dad said as he gathered my mum and brother up and ushered them out of my house without even saying goodbye.

I watched Jasmine deflate right in front of my eyes. She wanted the support of her family and they fought against her at every moment.

“I’m sorry,” she whispered, looking down at her feet. I gripped her chin between my thumb and finger and lifted her face until I could see those gorgeous hazel eyes. “I’m sorry for what they said, for how rude they were to you. Please say you’ll still help me, I really need you.” Her chin and bottom lip started to tremble, I caught the first tear that trailed down her cheek but soon there were floods of them. I released her face and pulled her in to my chest.

“Sssshhh, flower, its ok. We will still help you.”

“Really?” she asked, pulling away slightly and looking up into my eyes. I nodded my head and she planted herself back against my chest, wrapping her arms around my waist under my leather cut; she fit perfectly against me.

“You know, the rumours are kind of true. There are girls that live at the clubhouse, we call them club bunnies.” Her body froze, like she didn’t want to hear what I was about to say. “They’re there because they want to be, they get to stay there and eat for free in exchange they clean and cook and have fun with some of the guys. If they don’t want to be with the guys then they just say no. It’s not compulsory for them to do that. But the guys only see them as fun, not to settle down with, not to marry. Some of the bunnies only have one thing on their radar and that’s to become an Old Lady, but the brothers aren’t interested in settling down with a woman that all of their brothers had been with.”

“Oh, ok,” she mumbled into my chest. Shit, why did I feel like I had to explain myself to her? I couldn’t let this chick get underneath my skin. She wasn’t right for me. No, I wasn’t right for her but she was perfect for me.

“Flower, why don’t you go and get some rest. Tyler and I will take in turns keeping an eye on the place. Are we ok to kip on your sofa?”

“Um… Yeah, let me grab you some blankets. There’s only heating on in the bedrooms at night time.” Why was there only heating on in the bedrooms? Did she struggle to pay the bills living here by herself? And how would she afford to pay the bill that the Prez would give her? We haven’t done much work privately before but I knew that in the past the bill was always in excess of ten grand.

“I’ll go and grab Tyler.” I kissed her on the top of her head before she moved away. Shit, what was I doing? She rubbed her face against my chest and I could feel my cock rising. Shit, I needed to get out of here.

“I’ll get some blankets,” she said as she moved away. I grunted at her and made a hasty exit out of the front door.

“Hey, everything ok?” Tyler asked as I rounded the corner. He was leant up against the side of the house.

“Yeah, I’ve told Jasmine to get some rest. We’ll take turns keeping an eye out. We’ll switch every two hours. You go in and get some rest, I’ll do the first watch.”

“Is she ok? After me pointing a gun at her brother?” He ran his hand over his face. “I only did it as he was about to launch himself at you.”

“You did great, prospect. Don’t worry about Jasmine, she’s not angry. She’s left some blankets on the sofa for you. Get your head down for a bit, I’ll wake you up.”

“Thanks, man.” He slapped me on the shoulder as he passed and I shot him a chin lift.

I decided to check out the area surrounding the house. It was a quiet place to live; it was nearing ten o’clock at night at most of the houses had their lights off already, Jasmine only had one other house attached to hers, I made a mental note to have a chat with that neighbour tomorrow. As I rounded the house into the back garden, I stood frozen to the spot as I watched Jasmine get undressed, she didn’t draw her curtains so any fucker could see her. Why did that make me angry? She had a slim waist, average size breasts for her size and she was shorter than me. Her head only came to my neck and I liked that. I liked my women to be smaller than me, I liked to be able to pick them up and protect them.

“Solar?” Shit, busted. “What are you doing out there?” She had opened her window and now she was bent out of it, giving me a lovely view of her perky breasts. I tried not looking at them but they were calling out to me.

“Uh, I was just checking out the area. How well do you know your neighbours?” I asked, moving closer to her window and nodding to the house that was attached to hers.

“They were here when I moved in five years ago. Think they use it as a holiday home more than anything.”

  “Do they rent it out?”

“No. They live in London, I think. They come here on holiday several times a year,” she replied with a puzzled expression.

  “Are they home now?”

“I’m not sure. I don’t think they have been here for a couple of months, so they’re due a visit any time now,” she smiled.

“Get some rest, flower. I’ll be in the house if you need me.”

“Thank you.” She smiled again and blew me a kiss before she closed her window followed by her curtains.

  Chapter 3

  Solar

I stretched my arms above my head as I woke up; shit my back was killing me. I looked around and remembered that I had been asleep on Jasmine’s sofa. It was old and lumpy.

“Hey, man, you want some coffee?” Tyler asked, showing me a mug.

“Yeah, I’m going to need it to function today.” I yawned as I sat up and slipped my feet into my boots. I followed him out to the kitchen and sat at the kitchen table as he poured me a drink, adding milk and sugar to it. “Thanks, man. She ok?” I asked, looking down the hall at her bedroom door that was ajar.

“Yeah, she’s in the kid’s room.”

“We need to check out that house next door, she said the owners live in London and they use it as their holiday home. They haven’t been home for months. You can break in and I’ll keep a look out.”

“When do you wanna do that?”

“In a minute, before she wakes up. I’ll just go and check on her.” I stood up, grabbed my mug of coffee and ambled down the hall until I came to the kid’s bedroom. I pushed open the door slightly and Jasmine was fast asle
ep on his bed, surrounded by his teddy bears. She was gorgeous even as she slept, an ache appeared in my chest and I realised it was because I felt her pain, I wanted to help find this boy so much just to see the full smile and happiness on her face.

I turned around and strode towards the kitchen, left my hot coffee on the table and headed for the front door.

“Let’s go!” I called out. Tyler was hot on my heels as we rounded Jasmine’s house and strolled through her back garden, now that it was daylight you could tell that she had a son; there was a football net at the back of the garden with an abandoned bike and several footballs. I climbed over the fence and Tyler followed. We peered in through the kitchen window and it looked like no one was home.

“You get in through this way and I’ll keep a look out at the front.”

“What exactly am I looking for?”

“Anything out of the ordinary; red debt letters, threatening notes, just the usual stuff.”

“Sounds like you’d be better at this than me.” He chuckled.

“Yeah, not happening. I’ve been inside, can’t afford to be caught and sent back.”

“I got this. Won’t be long.” Tyler ambled up the back steps and walked straight in. Why the fuck was the door unlocked? I rounded the house and walked straight in to a woman.

“Whoa, careful there, sweetheart.” Who the hell was this? I needed to lay the charm on in hopes that she didn’t call the cops.

“Oh, sorry. I was just checking everything was ok. Are the Millers alright?” she asked looking over my shoulder.

  “Yep, I was just…”

“Hi, Mandy!” Jasmine called out as she rushed out of her house in her dressing gown to where we were standing. She stood in front of me and leant back against my chest. I wound my right arm around her waist. I couldn’t help but chuckle at the annoyed look on this chicks face.

“What’s he doing sniffing around the Miller’s place?” she asked.

“Oh, I heard a noise last night. I asked him to have a look around the back to make sure no one had broken in.”
