“It’s perfect.” He smiled at me before pulling my head down to his and capturing my lips. “Let’s get out of this bath.” He stood up with me in his arms. I squealed in surprise as I clamped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. His hard cock was pressed against me and I couldn’t stop myself from rolling my hips.

Marcus blew out all of the candles before rushing into our room and throwing me on the bed. I loved it when he was like this. It reminded me of the first time we were at Santa Land. I loved how he took his time with me and my body and made me feel things I hadn’t felt in a long time.

He climbed on top of me and sunk right into me. I gasped in surprise as I wasn’t expecting that, luckily being together in the bath had me turned on and I was ready for him. He peppered kisses up and down my neck as his rhythm increased. I hooked my legs over his hips and angled my body.

“Come for me, Angel,” he groaned.

“Don’t call me that,” I snapped.

“I’m gonna come.” He panted as he moved his weight onto his left forearm by my head and started rubbing my clit. “Come on, babe,” he demanded.

“Faster.” I cried as I felt the first sensation hit my lower spine. He picked up his speed and he was soon slamming into me. He flicked my clit once more before I started coming. He groaned above me as he erupted inside of me.

“Night, babe.” He kissed me once more before pulling out and rolling over to his chest and promptly falling asleep.

“Hey man.” Connor called out as he walked into my office. I was checking the schedule for the day. Five personal training sessions, back to back. That was going to be a killer.

“Hey, thanks for those tips yesterday. Worked a treat.” I winked at him.

“Glad I could help. Though don’t tell your sister. She wouldn’t be happy knowing I gave away my secret wooing techniques.”

“Hey, if Ruby knew she’d have my balls.”

We fist bumped. That was guy code for never talking about it again.

There was a knock on the door and Kirsty’s head appeared. She was one of the part time reception girls.

“Hey, Marcus. Melody is here for her PT.” She smiled.

“Melody?” Connor asked, raising his eyebrow in the air.

“Yeah.” I rounded my desk and headed for the door.

“As in your ex, Melody?” He asked as he followed behind me. We walked into the open gym area and there she was, my ex, stretching on the yoga mat. “No need to answer, I can see for myself.”

As I went to walk forwards Connor grabbed my arm and yanked me to the side of the gym.

“What the hell are you doing, man?” I asked.

“What the hell am I doing? What the hell are you doing?” I looked at him blankly. “Why are you training her?”

“Because she paid for PT.” I shrugged my shoulders.

“Then let Joel or Nathan take her.”

“She requested me. Kirsty booked her in with me. I can’t back out now.”

  “I’ll do it.”

  “No way, man.”

“What the hell is wrong with you? You sound jealous or something. Please don’t tell me you’re fucking her?” Connor paced in front of me.

“No!” I roared. “I love Ruby. I’d never do anything to sabotage what we have and disrupt Oliver’s life.”

I couldn’t believe what he was saying. I wasn’t happy about training Melody, but I was a professional. This was my job. I stormed away from Connor and up to Melody.

“Hey.” I jerked my chin in the air and she smiled up at me.

“Marcus. I’m so glad you agreed to train me. I wasn’t sure if you’d want me here or not.”

“It’s a gym, open to anyone. Shall we get started?” She nodded enthusiastically. I started her off by jogging on the treadmill. This was going to be one arse long hour.

“Shall we go and see daddy this morning?” I asked Oliver as I strapped him into his pushchair. He clapped his hands together.

  “Da da da,” he chanted.

“Come on then.” I locked up the house behind us and made the short, ten minute trip to the gym.

I remember Marcus saying he was busy today but surely he’d be able to spare five minutes to see us.

“Morning, Kirsty.” I smiled as we walked in through the door.

“Morning.” She beamed as she ran around the desk and immediately started talking to Oliver. He was lapping up all of the attention.

I glanced around the gym and Marcus was training a blonde woman in the boxing ring. It made me proud to see him working so hard. What made my stomach drop was when he threw his head back laughing and she threw her arms around his neck. That was when I realised who he was training. Melody.

“Hey, Rubes. I thought you were meeting Eve this morning.” Connor smiled at me as he approached us.

“Oh, yeah, I am.” I glanced at the clock on the wall. “In fact, I’m going to be late. See you later.” I swung Oliver’s pushchair around and hurried out of the gym.

I’ve always been a feisty woman. I’d take no shit from anyone. But for some reason I couldn’t find it in me to confront him. I was scared that he’d tell me that he’s sleeping with her and at the same time breaking my heart. So for now, I decided that I’d just ignore it.

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket as it started to ring. ‘Marcus’ was displayed on the front. I had contemplated ignoring it but I didn’t.

  “Hello?”

“Hey.” He sounded out of breath and immediately images of him fucking Melody in the changing rooms popped into my head. I hated how insecure I was all of the time.

  “Hi.”

  “Connor said you popped in?”

“Yeah, I was only there for two minutes. I saw you were busy and I’m late to meet Eve.”

“About that.” He sighed before continuing. “I didn’t know Melody was booked in with me today until I saw it this morning.”

“Who?” I decided to play dumb.

“Melody, my ex. I did it this morning as she was already booked in, but I told her that in future she needed to book in with someone else.”

“Why can’t you train her? Do you still have feelings for her?”

“No, babe, of course I don’t. I only have feelings for this one hot chick. She has a cracking body, long dark hair and she happens to be the mother of my child.” I couldn’t stop the smile from spreading across my face. I loved it when he complimented me. I hated this rut we were in and we had only been together one year. Would we make it forty more years?

Marcus had come home late again last night. I was already in bed when he came to bed and I pretended to be asleep. He didn’t attempt to give me a kiss goodnight on the cheek or even cuddle up behind me. He climbed into bed, rolled away from me and went straight to sleep. I couldn’t stop the tears from rolling down my cheeks. What had happened to us in the last year? How were we here already? Struggling in our relationship. Were we not meant to be?

“Hey, Rubes, you ready?” Eve called out as she entered the house through the front door. She was wearing her thick woollen red coat and Isobelle was bundled up in her pram. She had a pink hat on and was nestled under a pink blanket that had her name on it.

“Yeah.” I gave her a quick smile as I strapped Oliver into his pushchair. I pushed his mittens on his hands and a hat on his head. I kissed his cheek and he gave me a toothy smile. He was the reason I got up in the mornings and he showed me in every way that he could that he loved me. I was just sad that his dad couldn’t make the same effort. His was the intimacy that I was craving and not just from sex. I missed the times when we would snuggle on the sofa and watch a movie. Or talk and laugh. There was never much laughter between us lately and I hated it. Was I the only one that wanted to sort this out? To make our relationship better?

  “Hey, what
s going on?” Eve asked.

“Nothing. I’m fine.” I buttoned my black coat up and shoved my hands into my gloves. It was cold outside and the wind was strong today.

“Ruby, don’t lie to me. I know you better than anyone else. You’ve been crying.”

“I really don’t want to talk about it. I can’t.”

“Why can’t you talk to me about it?” She looked concerned and I hated making her worry.

“Because he’s your brother,” I sighed.

“Is this about him training Melody? Connor told me.”

“No.” I took a deep breath. “I asked him outright if he still had feelings for her and he said no. It’s the fact that he’s been working late so often and it feels like he has no time for us. He makes no effort and he was the one that wanted us to be a proper family.”

“And you’re putting up your guard as you think you’re gonna get your heart broken.” I nodded and swiped a lone tear that had escaped away. “You need to talk to him, now.”

“I don’t know what to say to him. He left Melody as she was nagging him.”

“No, he left Melody as he wanted to be with you.”

  “What?”

“Yep. He said he was building up the courage to show you how much you meant to him and he wanted to be with you and Oliver. Now, let’s go.”

We were standing outside of the gym for a good ten minutes before I built up the courage to face this problem head on. I was in love with Marcus and I wanted our relationship to work and last.

Eve held the door open for me as I pushed Oliver inside. As soon as we entered, Connor’s head snapped up from the guy he was talking to. He jogged over to Eve and Isobelle straight away. It was like their connection was so strong that he felt her before he saw her.

I glanced around and saw that Marcus was laughing with a couple of girls. They were both blonde and skinny, with tiny shorts and sports bras on only. He hadn’t felt me come in. He didn’t know that I was standing here watching him. I looked back to see that Connor and Eve were wrapped up in each other and jealousy surged through my body. I wanted what they had. Maybe Marcus wasn’t my happily ever after.

“Hey, buddy.” Marcus cooed to Oliver as he pulled him out of the pushchair and took his mittens and hat off of him. “Hey, babe.” He kissed me quickly on the cheek.

“I want to go back to Santa Land,” I blurted out.

The look of shock on his face surprised me.

“My office, now.” He growled at me before heading over to Eve and handing her Oliver. She nodded at me in encouragement and I followed Marcus to his office.

Once I was inside he slammed the door shut behind me.

“You want to fuck other people?” he shouted.

“No. I want us to go back, together, as a couple and find the spark that has been lost between us, before we call it quits.”

“Call it quits!” he roared. “You want to end this?” he asked as he flung his hand in the air pointing between us.

“No. I love you Marcus, so much. But I’m lonely. There is no intimacy between us anymore and you are barely at home. Your son misses you and so do I.”

“I’m trying to build this business up so I can be at home with you more. So I can provide for my family.”

“And I love that you want to do that. But in the meantime our relationship is suffering for it. I don’t know if you love me like you did a year ago.” I looked down at my hands, not wanting to hear him say that he didn’t love me.

“No, I don’t love you like I did a year ago. I love you more and that’s why I went and got this yesterday.” He slammed a ring sized box on the desk. “This was why I was late home yesterday.”

“Wh… What is that?” I pointed at the box with a shaky hand.

“It’s a ring, babe. I want you to be my…”

“No, don’t say it. Not yet.” I interrupted him. “Put it back away and ask me properly when we’re back to being us.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. We are us.”

“We have no intimacy. We don’t spend any quality time together. We just have a quick fuck here and there to both get off. I want to be loved and cherished. I want passion between us and love, so much love.”

“There’s more to intimacy than just sex,” he stated.

“I know that.” I walked closer to him and pressed my hands against his chest. “Do you feel that?”

“What?” He looked at me confused.

“Exactly. We’ve lost our connection. My hands on you should have your body tingling.”

“Ok, fine. We’ll go back. But only I get to be inside of you.”

“I don’t want anyone else, just my Comet.” I smiled at him as I wrapped my arms around his neck. I climbed to my tiptoes and nipped at his jaw. A growl slipped from his throat as he slammed his lips down onto mine.

“You, my Angel, are only mine.” He declared as he ran kisses over my neck.

Knock. Knock. We broke apart before the office door was opened. Connor stuck his head around.

“Sorry to interrupt but there’s a guy out here asking for you, man. He’s in a suit.”

“I’ll be right there.” Connor left us and Marcus turned back to me.

  “We’ll go tomorrow night.”

“I’ll make the arrangements.” I kissed him once more before bounding out of the room and headed for my son.

“Oh my god, I bet you’re excited for Santa Land.” Eve squealed as she sat next to me on the sofa. I was already dressed in my Santa dress, striped red and white knee high socks, red face mask and Santa hat.

“I am excited. I don’t want to lose Marcus but I can’t keep going on like this. We need to try to reconnect.”

  “And if it doesn’t work?”

“Then we’re not meant to be.” I didn’t want to be thinking about that. I was completely and utterly in love with the man that was putting our son to bed.

“I see the love you have for each other.” Eve smiled.

“Thanks for looking after Oliver tonight. Oh and I’ve sorted your hen night, it’s on the tenth, right?”

“Yeah, Connor and I are going to have them on the same night. Mum and dad are going to look after Oliver and Isobelle.”

  “Perfect. I can’t wait.”

“You ready, Angel?” I looked over to where Marcus was standing in the living room doorway. His red Santa suit, hat and beard were all perfectly in place. He looked hot.

  “Yes.” I smiled.

“Go and have fun. Remember, I don’t want to hear the details.” Eve laughed as I made my way over to Marcus. I pulled his beard down and kissed him on the lips.

  Angel

“I’ll see you in there, babe.” Comet kissed me briefly before he climbed out of the taxi and headed to the right side of the building. The guys and the women had to use different entrances, as far as anyone was concerned we didn’t know each other.

Once I had placed my coat, keys and phone into a locker I headed into the bar. There had been some changes done since I had been here two years ago. The stage was bigger and the bar now had three people working behind it. The place was packed. I found a small table by the stage and ordered myself a shot of tequila. I kept looking around for Comet but I couldn’t find him. There were six chairs in front of the stage with a roped off area around them. I wondered who that was reserved for.

When the lights dimmed and the music started I decided to settle in and enjoy the show. Comet would soon find me. I relaxed back in my seat and shot the tequila back. I soon sat up straight when I saw Comet strutting across the stage with five other guys in Santa suits.

Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard played as they ground their bodies into the air. All the women were going crazy, including me.

When his top was pulled open and his sexy body was on display I found myself wanting to jump onto that stage and hide him from everyone else.

  Once th
eir routine was finished and they were all down to their boxers, they each jumped off the stage. Comet rushed towards me and picked me up by my hips. I immediately hooked my legs around his waist.

“What are you doing?” I asked as he placed me in a chair in the roped off section. Each guy had picked a girl and Comet was standing in front of me in his black boxers, fake beard and Santa hat.

Once Love in this club by Usher started playing he straddled my lap and rolled his body into mine. He parted my legs and dropped to his knees. He winked at me before pushing my dress up higher, his tongue ran over my panties and a buzz of excitement shot through my body. He yanked my body down closer to his as he thrusted his hips into mine. Shit, was I about to come here in front of all of these people with a bit of dry humping?

Comet switched our positions so I was straddling him. He gave my arse a light slap, telling me to move. I cupped my hand behind his neck as I started moving my body slowly.

“I need you so much.” I pleaded into his ear.

His grip tightened on my hips as he held me down and pushed his cock against my panties. I rocked against him continuously until I started throbbing.

“Come for me, Angel. Right here, right now.” He demanded and I did. I let go of all of my worries and enjoyed being with him in a room full of strangers.

Once the music stopped, Comet climbed to his feet and placed me on the floor whilst he ran onto the stage to retrieve his Santa suit. He began redressing and I felt disappointed, but I knew that I’d be the one that would get to undress him again.

“Come on Angel, let’s go home.” He walked me to the entrance I had to leave from. “Wait for me in the taxi outside.”

“Why are we leaving?” I could still see his erection through his trousers.

“Because waiting will make it so much better. I can’t wait to see you dance tomorrow night.”

“No, no I can’t dance tomorrow.”
